Reed Waldenmaier
Regional Sales Vice President
Reed Waldenmaier brings management, sales, and entrepreneurial experience to First Choice Brokerage. He has held various roles in the logistics and maritime industry leading cross continental sales projects and branch turn around projects. After a successful career in the logistics and maritime industry, he started and grew several successful companies, one of which he sold in 2024. He also is the Sales Director for Foundation Enhancement Strategies, which is a sister company of First Choice Brokerage that helps non-profits increase their donor funding through life insurance strategies.
Reed is heading the annuity division at First Choice Brokerage in which he is fostering relationships with new agents and clients, while helping current clients move towards a prosperous retirement. and holds his Life, Health, and Annuities Insurance License, while also studying for the Series 7.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in international Maritime Business from Massachusetts Maritime Academy and went on to earn his MBA from Southern Methodist University. Graduating with honors from both institutions and playing collegiate football.
Outside the office, Reed plays the guitar, enjoys going to the beach, and participates in various community groups including the St. John’s County Chamber of Commerce and the Northeast Florida Chapter for Association of Fundraising Professionals.
